Don’t miss Bushkin, Shizzle and Discreet on the Bashment Show with Viper G Monday 10PM-12 on BANG 103.6FM
“Bush Bash Recordings” is a brand new independent record label founded by Bushkin from the Heartless Crew which aspires to be the label by the artist for the artist. Heartless Crew gave Bushkin the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the music industry and travel the world performing some of his club bangers. After learning from his experiences with other record labels, he vowed to set up his own label concentrating on the artists and their needs. Bush Bash Recordings is now in full force with Heartless Crew, Discreet and Shizzle all producing and releasing tracks through the label. Currently 5 releases are circulating the UK music scene including:
1.“Last Man Skanking” (Andy Starz: Feat Bushkin & Mighty Moe Produced by Dj Naughty)
2.“The Greatest” - Shizzle featuring Mighty Moe, Gemma Fox and Bushkin
3.“System Boys” - Discreet
4.“Uhrah” - Shizzle (some intense lyrical fire and style on the already very popular Fugitive riddim. Produced by Sticky)
5.“Pum Pum Shorts” - Shizzle and Discreet (their own version of Ramping shop on the Infectious Neyo Miss Independent beat)
Discreet is a young energetic artist often described as Daring, Delightful and Determined. Her boyish ways, combined with her versatile styles - chatting, rapping and singing makes her both an entertaining and unique individual.
Music has always been a strong and powerful element in her life, from an early age she remembers the heavy bass coming from the sound system. Her mother; a Bob Marley and John Holt fan helped influence her musical taste which ranges from dancehall, reggae to cheesy pop.
Born in South east London, as a youngster Discreet spent most of her time homing her mic skills with her brother Damien, and his friends at ‘The Trinity’ the local youth club. It was a tough time, being the only girl in a male dominated scene and she would normally wait hours for a turn on the mic. But this only fuelled her hunger for success and it wasn’t long before her charisma and sheer energy were recognised.
From her modest beginnings MCing at her local youth club, Discreet has gone onto establish herself as one of the premier female artist on the scene. She has performed up and down the country, in front of audiences of up to 2000 people, but her most memorable performance was a community event in Slough. This was an outdoor Festival hosted by Buskin of ‘The Heartless Crew’ where unexpectedly she had to perform and entertain 400 teenagers.
Discreet believes “Nothing is impossible”.
Discreet is now signed to Bush Bash Recordings and is currently promoting her latest releases through the label. Tracks include:
1.“System Boys” - Discreet
2.“Pum Pum Shorts” - Shizzle and Discreet

Gabriel McNeil, born on the 28th of November 1980, got the name Viper G from friends who thought he was quick and dangerous as a striker in football. Raised in a big family in the North West of London, he attended Northview Primary School and Claremont high school in Kingsbury.
Music always played a big part in his upbringing, with his father being a big time Reggae producer.
Viper was always singing as a child, alongside football these were the two things he really enjoyed.
Whilst still in school he started up a sound with his brother Scales called Star Dust- this venture nurtured Vipers stance within a sound.
At around 15 Viper was going to St Andrews youth club in St Andrews Rd, Willesden, which was coincidently being run by Gussy’s dad, through this youth club he started joining Gussy and his two cousins as they were playing out, and the creation of Silver Star was being conceived.
Silver Star started their weekly radio slot career with shows on Beat FM & Street FM before joining Unique 101.2 FM in 2001, where they had amongst the most listened to shows on the station. They also joined Daddy Ernie on Choice 96.9 & 107.1 FM every Wednesday to update the listeners on the Dancehall scene by supplying a live mix session of all things current.
Since September 2003 Silver Star got signed to 1xtra BBC and had a weekly show, Silver Star Presents…. on BBC’s 1Xtra on Sundays, midnight till 2am. This show is aired worldwide and has already been extremely successful for the trio.
They present the ‘International Dancehall’ slot – this features international sound systems such as Stone Love, Mighty Crown, Bass Odyssey, Cash Money, Black Chiney, and Love Injection… Amongst many more.
Silver Star had now become an ‘international sound system’ themselves with dates abroad including Sweden, Switzerland and Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Amsterdam, Austria, Italy, Kenya, Jamaica, USA, Norway, Australia, Cyprus, Greece, Antigua, The List Goes On…
They have also recently had their show chosen to featured on BBC radio 1 through radio 1 presents 1xtra, taking them to a potential audience of hundreds of thousands!
Viper Left Silver Star Sound in February 2007
His job as an I.T. manager keeps his PC knowledge fresh, and studying Forensic Science at TVU University while football is still his main hobby (he came through the ranks of Sudbury Court, Brent FC (Playing against John Terry, Peter Crouch to name a few) and Arsenal youths. His musical taste is diverse as he appreciates all good music.
Viper is lively, witty and very sharp, the kind of person you always want around to ensure a good time and a lot of entertainment!
