Swindle received the ‘Best Newcomer’ Award in Touch Magazine, courting the attentions of actor and MC Asher D, who signed him to the production arm of his independent record label ‘AD82 Productions’. This lead him to produce ‘With You’ featuring Mutya Buena. Taking influence from jazz, reggae and soul artists including Miles Davis, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder, Swindle focused his energies on making predominantly grime and hip hop beats whilst attending college.
Working with artists including Ghetts, Katy B, Nolay & Purple, his music began to gain the attention of mainstream DJs such as Cameo, Logan and Ras Kwame and two of the lead tracks taken from ‘The 140 Mixtape’ were play listed on radio. A follow up disc entitled ‘Curriculum Vitae’ was also released featuring all of the ‘140 Mixtape’ instrumentals.

Catch H20 on the Original Mixtape with Butch Kassidy - Wednesday 7PM

Don’t miss H20 on the Original Mixtape with Butch Kassidy, Wednesday from 7pm on BANG 103.6FM

h20-mainBecause of the way the UK Hip Hop scene is shaping up right now we’re at a time where artists on the underground scene have more credibility than some already known supposedly stella artists. This is where H20 comes in. His flow is more than respected and quite profound, all words clear and concise. He is not afraid to HELP others before himself, holding a monthly event giving a spotlight for new artists to come and show their products be it mixtapes, model calendars, new clothing lines and jewellery etc. These events have become more and more popular and they were always successful!!
So to let you understand the man behind the plan…. I give you H20.

Demonstration Surpasses Speech! The three words that sum up H2O to the tee!
Known for his revolutionary heartfelt music, this 1984 born Scorpio is no stranger to a notepad. Whilst being raised in the streets of South London, H2O started writing lyrics at the young age of 11, inspired by drum and bass legend Skibadee along with Bounty Killah and other GREATS of the music culture. Sadly his writing was put on hold for 2 years when he was sent to Jamaica to cool off for a while…. HE says! Once returned to Brixton at the age of 14, he hit the papers again and all we can say is, look out for this guy, with debut video “The Takeover” hitting the screens this May, this guy plans to do just that. 5 UNRELEASED albums recorded in the last year, 2 Mix-Tapes, 1 EP and 6 OFFICIAL VIDEOS, all of which ARE UNRELEASED.

h202-mainIf that wasn’t enough, H2O has now become an event organiser, artist co-ordinator and NOW has his fingers in the movie industry. Look out for this guy and his team, Demonstration definately Surpasses Speech!

H2O Quote Tupac said that he might not be the one to get the job done, but he would be the one to light the flame of the person who did. He lit the flames you hear me deliver on tracks, but I don’t have time for ALL of the issues he covered, I’m here to do the rest!”

Butch Kassidy’s Original MIXTAPE and Morning Shows……

Don’t miss Butch on The Morning Show Tuesdays and Thursdays10am till 1pm and the Original MIXTAPE Show, Wednesdays 7pm til 9pm on BANG 103.6FM

butchButch Kassidy born in August, started djing from High school at a friend’s house party. The DJ needed to use the little boys room, showed me how to cross the fader and check my levels. Eight tracks later an invitation was made to join a crew, which was later, named Diamond Rush. With and Aunt working at Congo Records and Uncles, Grandfather and Cousins all DJ’s collecting and learning the craft spawned a roller coaster of house parties and local under 18’s events. Searching for tracks was the best part of DJing. With places like Our Price, Woolworths, Klassique and Dub Vendor Records, and west end trips to Black Market & Uptown Records up in the west end, record and tape exchanges the hunt was on!

The Mixtape - Butch Kassidy Chats with Skandal

December 1, 2009 by Cassandra

On The Mixtape this Wednesday…..

With his true hip hop sound pure British tone …. Its street music from the street, by the street, to the street.

scandal-flyerHe is up for barring live and showing a very important tool in what it takes to be a hip hop artist. Spitting live is a part of the culture. Skandal is raw talent from the UK. For such a young artist, he maintains a craft with decades of history. Skandal has supported hip hop and underground heavyweights Styles P, Jedi Mind Tricks and Immortal Technique.

I’m looking forward to interviewing such a fresh, rising talent especially one from the streets of south London where life is different for the youth of today. Skandal has stated his dislike for Tupac which we will need to unravel for some hip hop fans, and will be bringing two tracks that inspired his passion into the game

See him in action:
