Serese join Dr. Psycho on Wednesday’s Breakfast Surgery - 7am-10
Don’t miss Serese on the Breakfast Surgery with Dr. Psycho this Wednesday from 7am on BANG 103.6FM
Serese is a combination of three personalities, attitudes and vocal styles. Anu, Anita & Mandee are three fiercely independent young women who together, form the femme fatale group Serese The talented trio was discovered by Entertainment Executive & Mogul, Richard Pascoe C.E.O. of RP Management two years ago and they have been busy making a name for themselves ever since.
These three girls from London have risen to the forefront to claim their spot as the template to follow when it comes to girl groups. Serese has taken the music scene by storm since Pascoe placed the girls with top producer AC Burrell & “Superstar” songwriter Wayne Hector. They are currently recording their eagerly anticipated self-titled debut album. “When you hear their music, you can’t help but feel the attitude within Serese”, explains Richard. Their attitude and music are a combination of all their life experiences, the good ones and the bad ones, “It is apparent that the three share a strong sisterly bond. Mandee and Anu have known each other since in School. Anita met Anu at a singing audition when she was 14. After their schooling, they decided to go full time into their chosen career of music.
The chemistry between these three ladies can be felt in each note they deliver, which is something Richard Pascoe noticed right away when they first sang for him two years ago. .”After we sang for him, he wanted to sign us to his management Company,” says Anu. “But at that time we had management. So he told us that the door was open for when we were ready to call him”. “January 2009, we called, & Richard kept his promise”.
“I am glad everything took a long time because it gave us time to grow and get to learn the business,” says Anita.
The girl’s hard work paid off. Last year, Serese was awarded with an Asian Music Award nomination and they stole the show with their opening performance at the 2009 MTV Music Awards in Pakistan.
Pascoe explains, “Serese is made up of three lead singers, and each one can hold her own. They have an incredible rapport with each other in the studio, & on stage which comes across in their music.” As far as their image, Serese represent three girls of Asian decent that are changing the way women from the East are looked upon.
Even though Serese have the looks, the moves & can rip apart any stage, they are based on the foundation of a true artist… the ability to sing.

Donaeo joins Dr. Psycho on Wednesday’s Breakfast Surgery
Join Dr. Psycho this Wednesday on the Breakfast Surgery as he talks live to Donaeo, 7am till 10am on BANG 103.6FM
Donae’o aka Ian Greenidge was always destined to make a career out of music after growing up in a house where melodies were a major force. His mother was a singer and as a youngster growing up in north west London it was common place for her to be heard belting out tunes in the house. A young Donae’o was also a regular companion when she was out performing and loved soaking up the atmosphere. In fact you could say this is where he felt most at home.
His was never a story of numerous talents shows and performing in school plays, but by the time he was in his mid teens he had already attracted a management outfit, and released a single Falling’. During his teens Donae’o (which means ‘Gift from God’) would release and re-release a few singles, most notably Falling and Bounce under various management outfits. Both singles made an impact on the underground, with Bounce winning an award for Best Live P.A at the People’ Choice Awards in 2003. All of this set the foundations for Donae’o’s future success. ‘Both of these songs kick-started my career,’ says the now 25-year-old. In his late teens and early 20’s he released a few more underground singles, but was mainly out of the spotlight as he focused on working on a plan to orchestrate the next stage of his career.
The plan? To take control of his career himself, minus any management. He had penned a tune called Devil In A Blue Dress, and this was the one he felt could really turn things around, and he was right.
