You might know Mr 13 from his exploits on the Breakfast Show alongside co host Tamara. You may have even seen him perform a P.A. or at an open mic in various venues around London. Well now you can catch him at his new time here on BANG 103.6FM every Wednesday from 10am-1pm. As well as giving you the very best in RnB, Hip Hop,Funky and Bashment new and old, he gives you the ‘Hot Topic’ of the day and his “Oh No You Didn’t” feature. This is a light hearted segment where 13 highlights a news story of some ‘not so smart’ behaviour by an individual. A recent “Oh No You Didn’t” featured a man who won 10,000 Euros on a scratch card during a Ryan Air flight. Upon discovering he couldn’t claim his prize immediately, he threw what will surely be his most expensive tantrum ever and decided to swallow the winning scratch card forfeiting his 10,000 Euros prize! Mr 13’s most memorable feature though is his ‘WEDNESDAY RAP UP’ in which he rounds up the weeks entertainment news and gossip in a 1 minute rap. You can hear this every single Wednesday at 12.15pm and the link below is the very first in the series:

At the end of every month Mr 13 (firts to his friends) is going to put the 4 weekly rap ups together and make a track that wraps up the hole month. This track will then become a competition prize and one or two lucky competition winners will get to take a copy home with them. Every new month the instrumental he raps on will change, and he is holding a competition for producers to be part of the next months rap up.

This Saturday I’ll be welcoming yet another super talented recording artist to BANG towers. He goes by the name of Dray Delta, a versatile microphone champ who’s comfortable flowing on everything from Hip Hop to the dirtiest Grime beats around.

Hailing from East London, Dray honed his craft in the ultra competitive pirate radio circuit going head to head with many of todays Grime princes. As one third of “Boyz In The Hood” along with Dirty Goodz and DJ Flipz they created waves in the scene and built up a fearsome reputation. However, the group disbanded and since then Dray’s been perfecting his style with the intention of commercial success as a solo artist
We’ll be discussing his current project “The Flow Reel” (and his upcoming collaborations with some of the true heavyweights in the scene today.

He was featured as one of the “Ten Hottest Men on the Planet” in the April 2004 issue of Essence magazine and again in the November 2005 issue.
Idris was chosen as one of People Magazine’s annual 100 Most Beautiful People in the World, in May 2007 and appeared on the August 2009 cover of Essence magazine.

After a stint in the National Youth Music Theatre, Elba worked the night shift at a Ford factory in Dagenham, London in 1989 and ‘90. Elba started acting in secondary school (Trinity Comprehensive, Barking Road, Canning Town) with encouragement from his drama teacher.

In 2008, Elba starred in the horror film Prom Night and Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla. In January 2009, Elba starred in horror film The Unborn. He also starred in Obsessed, alongside Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter, as an asset manager who has a beautiful wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker (Larter) begins stalking him. Obsessed was a box office success after it took in $28 million in its opening weekend.Obsessed was released on DVD on August 4, 2009.

Elba will star in Dark Castle’s adaptation of DC/Vertigo’s The Losers. He will be under the direction of Sylvain White in the role of Roque, the second-in-command of a black-ops team out for revenge against a government that did them wrong.

Filming will take place in Puerto Rico and the movie is scheduled for release in April 2010.Elba will be seen in the 2010 thriller Takers also starring Hayden Christensen, T.I., and Paul Walker. Elba is currently filming the 2010 film Legacy. He posted a picture of himself from the set on his Twitter page.

In the film, Elba portrays a black ops soldier Malcolm who returns to Brooklyn, after a failed mission in Eastern Europe, where he undergoes a journey looking for retribution.

Idris Elba has joined the cast of Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming Thor film, in which he will play Heimdall.
