The mulit-talented, multi-award winning, QT 2hype (a Quality Touch 2 Hype Your Party Easily) has vast become one of London’s top and most wanted Soca DJ’s, QT 1st got a taste for mixing after playing on his uncles Technics at 11 years old and started playing at his friends birthday parties. After then working for Def Jam’s marketing & Promotions department, QT had the knowledge and know how in music and him & his crew set up a sound. After leaving the sound, QT set out on a quest to become a solo DJ and played in some big clubs up and down the country, QT would always play Soca in his sets and this didn’t get unnoticed and not before long he started getting bookings as a Soca DJ.

QT’s set’s are known for its pure energy, flawless mixes and over hypeness, he has the crowd eating out of his hands, true to his name, QT is way too hype for words and loves to play tunes that make you want to wine, jump and break into a sweat, he’s not affraid to play new tunes and actually enjoy’s breaking in new artists and songs. QT has played in most of the biggest fetes around and major carnival’s including London’s very own Notting Hill, which he absolutely destroys every year, his mix CD’s are different to anything heard and some of his original mixes are just out of this world. He’s also played on radio stations including Unique 101.2 FM (big up Vinny Ranks), RJR FM, Soca FM and soon found a home at local Soca station, Tempo FM, where he sculpted the unmissable Hypa Mix Show, he’s also done special mixes for the BBC Asian Network and BBC 1Xtra. In 2008 his hard work was soon recognised when he won 2 Calabash awards for best Soca Club/Party DJ and best radio DJ and again in 2009 when he won Best Soca Club DJ at The Soca Music Awards.
