Kyla’s early breakfast on BANG Radio

Kyla joined me and Mr 13 here on the BANGING Breakfast on Monday morning and what a morning we had!

mara-kyla-mr13-insideThe lovely lady came along to talk about her new release which is out THIS WEEK “Daydreaming”.

Avid BANG Radio listeners would know the Sticky remix here on the playlist, but the single release has got another five mixes for you to enjoy.  Check out the video here.

If you want to keep up to date on Kyla news then check her myspace page here: www.myspace.com/ukkyla.

We’re hoping she comes back to give us an exclusive on the album she’s planning, which is said to be a completely different vibe from the funky funky we’re used to.  Can’t wait!kyla-inside

Aside from that, the SUGABABES!  Can’t escape the whole fiasco, but the question is “Who is to blame?”  Did Heidi get Amelle on some secret deal with the management to boot Keisha out?  Did Amelle get too big for her boots after securing her number 1 with Tinchy and manage to gradually shove Keisha out?  Or was Keisha really a bully, and her bullying ways backfired big time?  I’m just sitting in wait for one of the girls to give their “tell-all” story to some dodgy tabloid, naming no names.  Get in contact with us during the show to let us know who you’re pointing the finger at.

All this week we’re giving away a pair of tickets to go BACK TO THE 90s with Tevin Campbell, Jon B and Horace Brown.  Lock on 7am-10am to listen out for competition details and you could be heading to the show yourself.  For more info go to http://www.bangradio.fm/index.php/2009/09/28/back-to-the-90s-win-on-breakfast/

Over and out for now, til tomorrow!

Aaron J Washington on BANG

September 29, 2009 by helen

Aaron J Washington is one of UK’s up and coming passionate artists with his own distinctive sound. He started singing from a very young age influenced by great artists such as Chaka Khan, George Benson, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder etc. Catch him live this Wednesday on the Jump Off with Dnyce from 7pm.

aaronjwashingtonIn his formative years, he sang in a male harmony group “2Sides”. Later, he moved on to sing in the “Brown House community Gospel Choir”. Soon after, he decided it was time to start his career in music as well as developing his craft as an artist.

Since spending time focusing on creating his own craft, Aaron has recorded with various producers and musicians such as Rob Hardt & Cool Million, MaQman, Luman Child & Raúl who are members of The Black Style Mood, as well as working with producers 100% Guynomite and Skymark. Aaron Washington’s main objective, however, is to eventually release his music to mainstream.
