Hey Peepz! Welcome to my blog, I’m your new host for Friday’s BANG Radio breakfast, after training with Tamara I’m now ready to do my own thing!!! Yeah!!
So that’s Thursdays show done as I was covering for the lovely lady, before I get ready for Friday’s, I thought I’d tell you more about what I was talking about today so you can see what’s made me laugh.
It’s ebay’s 10th Birthday and this morning I told you a few facts about the auction site and even said about putting myself up on there to get the chance to go on a working holiday to Ibiza (still thinking about that!!). So here are the links to a couple of my favorite stories

There’s tons more from the simple selling objects to the weird selling body parts but these are just some of the ones that made me laugh. I also told you about my week from hell, somebody suggested that maybe its because I have bad karma, but me being me hasn’t got a clue what karma is well after searching the internet turns out Karma has commonly been considered a punishment for past bad actions, but karma is neither judge nor jury. Rather, it is simply the universal law of cause and effect that says every thought, word and act carries energy into the world and affects our present reality.
I’ve been ill this week so have spent my time off from work looking at various odd youtube videos and a couple of the ones that have kept me entertained are:

Anya James the ‘Model Model’

Every Friday DJ Bruce Wayne will be talking to models who are so nice he has to say it twice as part of Model Model Fridays. This week Bruce will be talking to Anya James.
Anya started modelling in the Autumn of 2006, where she was launched into the mainstream industry as a result of being the third runner up on Channel 5’s Make Me a Supermodel UK. Since the show the last few years have been a rollercoaster of events for Anya. She has travelled and worked around the world, featured in all your favourite magazines and papers and met the influential people within both the fashion and entertainment industry (e.g. Naomi Campbell, Vivian Westwood and Ne-Yo just to name a few!) Her modelling career has also allowed her to explore other avenues such as journalism, presenting, acting and being a spokesperson for young black and ethnic models within the industry.

Soul-D-Out: August 7th 2009
D’ Nyce is bringing Soul-D-Out live to The Cobden, W10 on August 7th 2009. Soul-D-Out promotes the finest UK soul artists alongside international artists. These are artists that haven’t been recognised by the mainstream and Soul-D-Out highlights them at this soulful bi-monthly event in west London.
August’s Soul-D-Out’s will be hosting the official launch of Noel McKoy’s album “Brighter Day”. Other performers on the night include Nicky Price, Nadine Charles and Brooke Bailey (Nadine and Brooke have been recent guests on D’ Nyce’s Soul-D-Out Mondays right here on BANG Radio). This is guaranteed to be a night of rhythmic melodies, beautiful vocals and real soul.
Soul-D-Out takes place August 7th 2009 at The Cobden, 170 Kensal Road, London W10 5BN. Advanced e-ticketed are available on Urban Tickets for £6, or you can pay £10 on the door all night.

Yo yo yo! It’s Lady V!
How are you feeling after the 4 HOUR D&B extravaganza last night (28th July)?? The Drums were officially unleashed on BANG Radio as we were covering for Shuges who is away for 2 weeks, so Tuesday was a night of D&B! We took you through all the kinds of D&B you could ever imagine and want..courtesy of Devill!

Skipp (also of the CSD crew) popped by too and although he’s known on BANG for dropping fresh Funky, does he know his D&B too! I got a bit into Cruella mode as I announced it was Devill vs Skipp and the DJ challenge was on…of course, I know where my priorities lie (you can’t have Cruella without Devill?) but Skipp smashed it too!
I’m dancing in the studio…wearing my trainers out!
So that was Round 1! Round 2 will be up next Tuesday 4th August and trust me, our last show was just a hint of the hot stuff we have planned for next week’s 4 hour marathon! We’ll be joined by Mickey Mafia (sick, sick, SICK Jump-Up), there’ll be Devill Vs Skipp Part 2 (oooh, how’s going to proove they’re the best?? You need to lock on for this one!) and…
